Engagements

Four ways an engagement can be scoped

A settlement window slows down during a promotional spike and support tickets start piling up before anyone identifies why. Depending on how urgent and how broad that question is, an engagement gets scoped differently.

Rapid Configuration Review

A focused look at access controls, network rules, and environment consistency. Suited to teams that suspect a specific configuration issue rather than a broad infrastructure question.

  • Typical scope: one to two environments
  • Deliverable: findings summary with severity ranking

Redundancy Deep Dive

A dedicated review of failover behavior, multi-region setup, and backup systems, including a walkthrough of what actually happens during a simulated regional outage.

  • Typical scope: production and disaster recovery environments
  • Deliverable: failover behavior map and gap list

Ongoing Advisory Retainer

Periodic check-ins for teams that want a recurring second opinion as infrastructure evolves, rather than a single point-in-time review.

  • Typical scope: quarterly review sessions
  • Deliverable: short update notes after each session
What you actually receive

A findings document, not a slide deck full of buzzwords

Engineering teams tend to trust reports they can act on directly. That's the standard used here.

Written Report

Findings organized by category, each with context on why it matters for a transaction-heavy platform specifically.

Prioritized Findings List

Items ranked by a combination of risk exposure and implementation effort, not just severity alone.

Debrief Walkthrough

A call to go through findings live, answer questions, and clarify anything that reads unclear on paper.

Remediation Options

Multiple possible directions noted per finding where relevant, left for your team to decide and implement.

A rough sense of timing

How long does an engagement typically take

Timing depends heavily on environment complexity and how quickly access can be arranged, so the discovery call is where an actual estimate gets discussed. As a general pattern, a Rapid Configuration Review tends to be the shortest engagement, a Full Infrastructure Audit spans several weeks of mapping and working sessions, and a Redundancy Deep Dive falls somewhere between the two depending on how many regions are involved.

Not sure which scope fits your situation?

That's a normal question to bring to the discovery call itself.
